1. THE BUBBLY BAR Because we've never met anyone who doesn't enjoy (at least a little bit!) of bubbly. This one's absolutely perfect for a Bridal Shower Brunch, a Baby Shower, or even a small get together with girlfriends. Plus, they're infinitely more fun when you can customize them to your liking. Here are some of our favorite fixings for an amazing Bubbly Bar:
Chandon Rose La Marca Prosecco Veuve Clicquot Brut
Peach Puree Grapefruit Juice
Fresh Berries including Raspberries, Blackberries, and Blueberries
Maybe it's just us, but every time we go to a shower or brunch event of any kind it's shockingly difficult to find anything healthy to eat! Of course, we love the chicken and waffles and the raspberry scones - but for a girl who's counting her calories, it can be a struggle! Help your guests out by offering them a refreshing alternative - enter, The Parfait Bar.
THE BASE Yogurt of any kind. Our favorite is Chobani Greek since you can layer on flavors to truly build your own parfait. But, if you want to give guests some options consider adding a couple of additional flavors. Don't want anything to go to waste? Or feel weird about a big bowl of yogurt (... kind of get that). Offer individually packaged yogurts on a bowl of ice for guests to choose from.
Sky is the limit here! A few of the fruit toppings we <3:
Let's be honest - is there ever a bad time for donuts? Or, better yet a time when you might deny one if it's in front of you? Literally, everyone loves donuts! A donut bar is a fitting addition to any celebration large or small. And aside from finding really delicious donuts and a pretty little set up for them, there's not much else you'll need to do to please your guests with this one!
(Writing this is making me want a donut...)
Check your local area for artisinal donuts. Donuts in the foodie world have been on the rise for some time and there seem to be gourmet donut shops popping up everywhere we turn. Not only will you likely be able to offer guests an interesting selection, but you'll be able to support local business as well! It's a win-win.
Consider offering guests grab and go milks (including whole, almond, and or coconut) in vintage milk bottles to wash down all of those donuts.
A favorite of ours for birthday and milestone celebrations, but also as a late night snack for hungry guests after hours of tearing up the dance floor. Popcorn is one of the most addictive snacks ever with a huge fanbase. There's a reason it's withstood decades as the mainstay snack of movie theaters. Add some unique toppings and you have yourself a group of guests happy and recharged for a few more hours of celebrating!
Rent a popcorn machine if you want to get really fancy, or buy in bulk in multiple flavors. Classic selections include Butter, Caramel, and Cheddar Cheese. But, much like donuts, popcorn has been having a shining moment with new flavors popping up regularly (like jalapeno or truffle). See what you can find out there and don't be scared to introduce your guests to something new!
Growing up I always threw a couple of M&Ms into my freshly popped popcorn to add a little sweet to the salty mix. Some other mix-ins we love (both sweet and savory):
Arguably our favorite. Look, maybe Bloody Mary's aren't your thing, but I will assure you that for many people they are a brunch or a morning-after staple that's both delicious and curing (seriously! the sodium in them can do wonders).
We swear by Tito's vodka hands-down. Get creative by infusing it with bacon or pickles!
Everyone has a different Bloody Mary mix that they swear by. You can either make this on your own or you can choose one that's store bought. We suggest doing a bit of field study and taste testing before landing on one for your event, but one of our favorites when we're in a bind for time is Mrs. T's.
